The first area we’re building is a small island — just enough for a goblin camp, a cave, and a simple starting camp on the southern shore. It’s not polished or final — just a rough space we’ll use for the first playtest.
Right now, it’s all placeholder art: basic tiles, minimal decoration. But it gives us what we need — a space to test movement, combat, and start shaping the game’s core systems.
We’ve been working with @Furious_Monk on an early layout —
sketching the terrain and placing spawners. It’s simple, but it’s already starting to feel alive.

You can see possible spawn points here:

Here’s how it looks in-game so far — just blocky tiles to shape the layout. The cave isn’t in yet, but that’s coming soon.

This island is being built specifically for playtesting. A small, focused map where we can try things in action: movement, combat, abilities, inventory — all the early systems.
Eventually we’ll move to a more refined visual style. For now, the priority is getting the foundations right.
If that sounds interesting — we’re planning our first playtest in June / July. You can sign up here or join our Discord to follow along and get involved.
